Red Bull Expands Football Empire with Minority Stake in Leeds United

Red Bull has further expanded its presence in the football world by acquiring a minority stake in Leeds United. This investment makes Leeds the sixth club in Red Bull's portfolio, alongside RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg, New York Red Bulls, RB Bragantino, and RB Brazil.

The partnership will see Red Bull's logo prominently displayed on the front of Leeds United's men's and women's first-team kits starting next season. Importantly, this investment does not involve any changes to the club's name or the iconic Elland Road stadium.

Leeds United Chairman Paraag Marathe expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating that Red Bull's involvement marks a "historic milestone" that will bolster the club's competitive potential. He highlighted the shared respect both entities have for the club and its legacy.

Oliver Mintzlaff, Red Bull's chief executive of corporate projects and investments, reiterated the company's commitment to supporting Leeds United's ambition of returning to the Premier League.

This strategic move aligns with Red Bull's broader strategy of investing in and nurturing football talent across the globe. With Leeds United's rich history and passionate fanbase, the partnership promises to be an exciting chapter for both organisations.
