Nvidia Leads $700mn Investment in AI Firm Nebius Group
Amsterdam-based Nebius Group, an AI infrastructure firm founded by Arkady Volozh, has raised $700 million from investors including Nvidia, Accel, and Orbis Investments. The funding will accelerate the development of GPU clusters, cloud platforms, and tools for AI developers. The company plans to invest $1 billion by mid-2025, with potential expansion in the U.S., where it operates a data center in Kansas City. Nebius emerged after a split from Russia's Yandex and is now focused on growing its presence in Europe and North America.
